Installing an HDD as the slave drive

OK.... This should be simple right? How do I install a second HDD as a slave drive. What does it mean about jumpers........
Any help would be great.

These little thingies settings should be located on the drive somewhere or in a manual.

I jus installed a second one as a slave. I actually kept both drives as "cable select". As long as the master is at the end of the cable, and the slave, you'll be alright....I think you need XP SP2, but if you just set your hd you have now to master and your new one to slave, you'll be good. All settings an explanations should be in the manual/instructions that come with it.

u can either put the jumper on the slave pins, or take the jumper off and the computer should find it as a slave..
