Installing ATI Radeon 9800 Pro Driver on Ubuntu

And yet another question about oh-so-friendly ubuntu.

I now am trying to install the drivers to my Graphics Card (Radeon 9800 Pro)

What steps do i have to take to install my graphics card?

Is there any weird programs that I will have to install like most programs with ubuntu have?

You'll have to get a driver from ATI, then I'll bet you have to boot into recovery in normal mode, and sudo install the driver.

you don't need to install the driver from ati.. Go to System, Administration, Hardware Drivers. It might surch for a bit but the driver should come up you just need to activate it.

Oh, sorry, I forgot that Ubuntu could find your driver if you were connected to the internet. My machine isn't.
