Installing Chrome OS

Is it yet possible (and will it be possible) to install Chrome OS natively onto a netbook so that I won't have to boot from a USB? I'm looking for a good OS to put on my Elonex Webbook, which I'll mostly be using for light internet usage and note-taking, so Chrome OS sounds ideal (storing my data in the cloud would be awesome as well since that would allow me to access it from my MacBook). I've been looking at Jolicloud and MeeGo as well, but they don't seem to have the ideal specifications for "working in the cloud".

So, installing Chrome OS natively: is it possible?

I don't think that you can as of yet. I have only gotten it to work on a usb and in virtualbox. I would recommend using a small distro of Linux like OpenSuse, Fedora, Ubuntu, or is you want really small look at Damn Small Linux. Then signing on to Google Docs. and using that for hoisting your documents.
