Installing Corsair H60 Watercooler into Antec 900 Case

It has been awhile since I last bought a system and I wanted to upgrade to a watercooling system so I can play around a little with Overclocking. I was wondering on the antec 900 and the Corsair H60 what the best way of installing this is.

I was looking at putting the watercooler inside the case on the rear fan. My concern with this is isn't the front two fans on the case suppose to suck in cool air and then the rear fan and the top fan suck the hot air out? What I don't want to be doing is feeding hot air through the water cooler and defeating the purpose of what I bought it for.

Would it be logical to turn the rear fan around and have could air be sucked in from the front and back and then have the top fan suck the hot air out, or should I be trying to mount the watercooler on the outside of the case somehome? Also there is a fan spot for the side of the case So I guess I could technically use that as an exhaust as well. Any input would be helpful! :D:good:

I have my H70 set up as intake in the back, with two 120mm fans as exhaust on top, so it gets the hot air out of there fast.

Did you just replace the Big A** fan that is already installed in the case then with the two 120s? Did you need to do any custom fitting to make that work? I have the one large fan in there right now and am wondering whether or not that will be enough with the side fan exhausting out the hot air.

Yeah, I just took it off and replaced it with two 120mms. I had to take the top of the computer off, but mine was made for it. It took a while but it'll give better cooling.

But I don't have the antec 900. Not sure if you can do that with that case.

One thing to do is install it as an exhaust, (Intaking inside the case) play a game or whatever stressful thing you do, record the temps of the CPU and GPU, and then flip the fans and see if there is any difference.

Awesome thank you for the advice!

It's inside, don't install it on the outside. I have my fan intaking from the back fan panel on the inside and expelling into the case.
