I am trying to install Linux on a hard drive with windows and one partition
It has one partition that takes up the whole drive and I don’t wont to delete all my stuff is there any thing I can do

ok, what you want is to reduce the windows partition, leaving enough free space for linux. most partition software can do that, but i would recomend vcom partition comander.

for example: if you have a 40GB HD, you can give windows 20 GB, and the other 20GB is left free (unformated). when instaling linux it should detect windows and use the free space.
