Hi There,

I have just bought a new hard drive and I need to install it on my laptop. My current laptop uses vista as the operating system (os). How can I get the os vista off my current harddrive and onto my new hard drive. I don't have any os disks?

One drive is already connected, you can use an external enclosure to connect the other to the laptop. It won't be the fastest but if it's a one time thing it will work.

Once this is done you could go to the drive manufacturers site and download a cloning program to copy the drives.
