Alright for some reason the one thing I never understood is ram, why cant they just make "one size fits all?" Well any ways, I found an eMachine tower on the side of the road, sure enough there is a thing of ram (256), so I said "I'll see if I can install it in my computer. I have a Sony Vaio. So I turn it off, unplug everything, and when I turn it back on... nothing. Can anyone help, or let me know if this is even possible. the company who makes the ram is nanya, and the part number is nt5ds16m8at-7k. thanks Dillon.
