Installing second HD

Hi everyone I am new here.
I have a Dell 4700 very basic package, it currently has a 40gb HD and I wanted to add a second HD. So I went out and got a 200gb Maxtor Ultra ATA/133 to install, I checked to make sure it is compatible with my system. Anyway I just open the case and notice the existing HD is a SATA (e.g. no wide cable) So my question is can I install this even throu I currently have a SATA drive, also want to point out that I have a CD-rom and a DVD-RW installed no floppy. If I can install it where do I connect it to, can I use the vacant floppy connector and can I get the power source from the SATA drive.
Thanks

There are no vacant ports where my CD/DVD are. I was thinking of buying an enclosure but that has to be the last option

Yeah, sorrry, but theres not much else you can do. If your computer has a firewire port, get a firewire enclosure instead. Firewire is much faster the usb.
