installing windows xp home! Help!

Hello I working on building a computer and I recently ordered Microsoft Windows XP Home Upgrade with SP2 on accident. I have no old versions of windows just a fresh clean hard drive. Will the upgrade still work as a default operating system on my new hard drive or do I need to send it back and get just Windows XP Home cd. Thanks.

no, you'll need to get the full version

You should be able to get something other than XP, though. Get a copy of 98 and upgrade from that.
