I have a 1510 Vostro Dell laptop. I want to install windows Xp Service Pack 2. But saw a message that you have not any drive to install windows. If I install from installed windows xp it is write that you should install a new windows. Please help me that how can I install windows XP on my laptop.

What operating sytem was originally on the computer? Didn't dell give you restore cd's to reinstall the Operating System? You are getting that error because your system is running in AHCI mode instead of IDE. Look in the bios to see if the sata controller mode can be changed to IDE mode and then try reinstalling windows. If not then you would need to install the sata controller driver at the beginning of the install.
