installing xp

hi i have an acer aspire 5315 and it came with vista basic i changed it to vista premium and have decided to downgrade to xp as i prefer it. soo i used dban to wipe the hd and once this was completed i inserted my xp disk turned it on it says insert boot disk and press any key so i press a key and nothing the same thing happens what will i need to do to make it install properly as im pooped
please help

this has not worked either just keeps coming up with the same thing is there a potential issue with drivers for the disk drive ??
