Hello guys i'm new to this forum hope to be of some help and gain knowledge from people more sophisticated than me.

Anyways the problem is that Installshield shows all installs in Russian. I know the reason, its because i have set the language for non-unicode programs to Russian because thats what i need. But i wish InstallShiled to still stay in English.

Please help me.

Generally when a new program is installed the option to enable support for languages other then English will be seen. That is generally when to give the no answer. Once you have everything installed you would need to custom install to a temporary folder with another installer and say no when prompted for other suport then?

Someone familiar with Q Basic may be able to work out a program line to prevent the change seen on the installer or maybe even reverse the change if possible. Another option would be to create a custom installer that would not see any changes made when installing the non-unicode programs.

Well the programs that install in Russian are Nero and the NVIDIA GeForce Drivers. Nero, I can change to English easily but the NVIDIA control panel is a harder thing to change.

Well? One available option is to write down the proceedure for installing Nero while still in English. Then when the installer remains in Russian you simply follow the directions by the other items besides language. In other words you simply would have to know the right buttons to push. :P

That's a hard one to really work out without being able to reprogram a script to prevent the language change there. You would need someone quite experienced in programming and software development to break down Nero. The other idea probably wouldn't see results there is to contact the Nero support staff with this question. They may be able to tell you which value in the system registry could be removed or added for this.

Oh no i'm Russian and can read and understand it just fine, i just would prefer it to be in English with the rest of the OS.

I figured you might at least be able to read Russian. The only thing that could be done here is to alter the portion of Nero's own programming that changes the language portion. Someone like a program analyst or developer would probably be the best qualified to walk you through the type of changes it would need to make this work. This is why the advice to email Nero's technical support was mentioned since it is their product unless you can find someone who has this type of experience.
