When I shutdown my computer (Windows XP Media) I get a message for about 30 seconds before shutdown. The message is: The Instruction at ox69532997, Reference memory at "ox0000000"could not be read. I have 3 computers and this message occurs on all three. I have a feeling this is being caused by Symantec's Norton Internet Security 2007 or HP printer drivers. This does not cause any problems but is annoying.

Besides Norton which gets a bad review to start with by most it will likely turn out to be something like video drivers or something other then those for a printer. Printer drivers unload fast once a print job completes and are not loaded into memory when first starting Windows up.

Startups? That's orecisely the place to start since something is hanging up on you when going to shutdown. The msconfig utility can help there by disabling one or two things until that error is no longer seen. You then have the program or device where the drivers are hanging and likely need to remove and see a fresh install.
