integrated graphics

id like to start off by saying my knowledge of computer is 0 technically

i want to upgrade my intel HD 2000 integer grated gpu to something better as it is rubbish. can i do it even though its integrated? also if i can which gpu should i get £100 budget. help me?
 
Need to know more information about your computer. You have Intel HD 2000 graphics which would suggest you have an i3 21xx CPU (2nd gen), but how big is your case and what PC specifically do you have? Make and model number please (assuming this is an 'off the shelve' PC).

Having a quick look on Google to see what your machine looks like, yes a graphics card should fit in there but you will need to change the power supply.

I'd probably recommend something along the lines of a GTX 750 and a Corsair CX 430M if your budget for the whole thing is £100.

No you can not upgrade the integrated video card(it's a part of the motherboard) , but you can add another card and simply make your machine use the new one, it's pretty easy but it will need more power, therefore you need a new, more powerful supply ...

(just explaining it all, didn't see anyone above me do that ;) )

Actually its a part of the CPU.
 
thank you for the help everyone but can someone give me the links to where i can buy these components and also double check to make sure there is enough power supply definitely for both gpus?

also will the graphics card fit inside of the case. ive been looking at tutorial and it seems very confusing/not much space in there?

Yah soz mistake :o

To make sure what psu u need, just look at the watts of your current psu, go to the new videocard details, look how much watts it needs and add it to your current psu, thats how big psu u need..
( if you have ex. 180 watts psu and the new card needs ex. 300, then you need a 500 watt psu )

Actually usually it doesn't quite work like that. Normally AMD/nVidia will put in a PSU reccomended wattage that powers the whole system.

For example, a GTX 770 uses around 200W, but they reccomend a 600W PSU. Generally it's pretty accurate (though almost always overkill). It's a good thing to go by if you're new to computers.
 
The reason its overkill is because wattage means little if its all on the 5V rail. Amperage on the 12V rail is what matters however everyone bases there judgement on 'enough' via wattage. So nvidia and amd use inflated wattage recommendations to try to prevent catastrophes for the guy that buys the $20 800W PSU from ebay which has 15A on the 12V rail.
