How good is this for windows vista ?
should I get a laptop with these specs
or should I wait and get a higher one
Here's the rest of the specs if you are interested
Oh and it got an Intel Core 2 Duo T5600 (1.86GHz/667MHz/2MB)

I don't know about your vista question. But have you ever seen a laptop with a 12 inch screen? If you have not, go to the store and check out the small screens you may be surprised that its actually to small. I like the 14 inch screens better, it's still makes a small and light notebook without to small of a screen.. Just a heads up

Sorry but that wont work with Vista, at least if you want all the cool Aero effects. In order for you to take advantage of those, you need a DX9+ card, and at least 64MB of video RAM.

You cant run the Aero effects without DX9, so I don't know how it would work. Are you sure you know what the Aero effects are? lol

I was thinking of the GMA900, since thats what I had on my PM laptop, which used DX8.1.

The important things are at your memory and virtual memory..

- 40 GB HDD
- 512 MB DDR2 RAM
- 128 MB or higher VRAM
- Direct X 9.0

Yup.. you're right. Bcoz I'm obsesion with my laptop spec.
Btw my laptop spec with using Intel(R) GMA 945 was vista ready spec.
Bcoz I just bought new one...
