intel 7260 wireless not turn on - windows 7

Hi all,

I really need some help here as this is giving me driver rage. Basically I have just purchased the new ac wireless receiver for my Lenovo z570 laptop and it just will not work.

I have managed to install it into the machine ok however did need to flash the firmware first with one that didn't have a whitelist..

Windows has detected the devices and I have installed the recommended drivers however it just doesn't appears to such on.

I have tried to see if I can enable the wireless via a keyboard short cut but nothing works.the machine is not showing any wireless network in range when I have 2 in the house.

There is a debate conflict of sorts when the device installs the software as it has inbuilt Bluetooth..

The device is the intel 7260 card.

Can anyone offer me any advice please?

Hey, thanks for the reply. I have tried that and am using the very latest drivers from Intel. The software is saying that the radio is turned off and to refer to the hardware switch which I have, still not working and I even took drastic measures and removed windows 8.1 and added on 7 - still made no difference. It seems this is a very common problem with this card and so far there is no dedicated fix with is just really bad for intel.

Sending it back for a refund and will look at other options. Cheers anyway.
