Intel core duo or Amd turion

intel core duo t2250 @ 1.73 GHZ
or
Amd turion64 x2 tl-50(dual core) @ 1.6 GHz
there is price diff of around $200 in laptops with rest all things being the same. which one is better?
 
which one is $200 more than the other? I assume the core duo system.

The Intel will kick the crap out of the AMD, if you want to spend the $200 on it.

ahhhh the old question of which CPU to get but i think a ARGE would be the best because it´s magnifying power has trippled the amount known to most AMD processors of the H.F.T. type. If you catch my drift.... Also, if you discombobulate the disection loops you can get infinite Mhz. which is the best thing to do considering what most cpu´s are like 300 dollars so if you follow EXACTLY WHAT I SAY YOU WILL HAVE THE BEST CPU IN THE WORLD.

Very well stated for someone who hasn't the faintest idea what the heck they are talking about. Discombobulate? Seriously...couldn't you at least try not to sound like a kindergartner? And I don't know about you, but I can get a CPU for about $60, brand new.

Hahaha, that has got to be the funniest thing i have ever heard. Disection is not even a word dude. Even if you can get "infinite" mhz, you will have serious heat issues.

By infinite i only ment that it could run 2 copys of half life 2 and still have enough RAM to play minesweeper.

and also i mispelled a word i guess disect

And plus you need to submerge the whole pc in water so it stays cool, or if u want to look cool you can use blue ice or whatever floats your boat.

yes the core duo processor is costlier by around $200 atleast in the laptop config which i have decided upon..
heard that the amd processor has some heating problem.

one more thing :amd processor laptop has nVidia Geforce 6150 where as intel has intel integrated graphics card.
will the extRA money spent on intel justify it.
please help me decide which one to get
 
I would go with the AMD, unless you are doing extensive stuff. It is still a very good dual core processor, and the video card will make a difference, as will saving $200. :rolleyes:

I would go with the AMD since it comes with a video card.

Dude, you have no idea what you are talking about. First you are talking about CPU frequency, but now you are talking about making more ram from his prexisting ram. And if you submerge your computer in water, it would short out instantly.

Actually if you submerge it in pure water (de-ionised) it would not because it does not conduct electricity at all but if your motherboard has dust on it you will have plenty of conductivity...lol! Deionized water is only going to be safe with electronics in a very controlled environment.
 
i believe the geforce 6150 is an intetgrated graphics chip although its still better than that intel crap i just thought id point out you arent really getting a graphics card as much as an integrated chip
 
Get the best of both worlds and get an AMD 64X2. Everyone knows AMD makes beter processors-so now you get the 64 bit and the duo by the best processor company
