Intel Core Solo T1300 and Centrino

what is the diffrence in the Intel Core Solo T1300 and the centrino processor. Are they the same thing if not which is better i am looking for at getting a good battery life and i use it mainly for internet use.
 
Core Solo is a processor that is cimpatible with Centrino. Centrino means any laptop that has a Pentium M, Core Solo, Core Duo, and possibly a Celeron M (not sure on the Celeron M), and an Intel Pro Wireless card.
 
Actually it's a combo of 3 Intel goodies: an Intel Pentium M (regular, duo, etc.) processor, Intel chipset (855, 915, etc.), and an Intel PRO wireless card. Core Duo & Solo will still fit into the Pentium M category with a newer chipset (945). Celeron wouldn't fit it though, that's why I'd always recommend people to pay the extra 50+ bucks for a pentium M upgrade to get better battery life and better processing power.

Woops forgot about the chipset. I wasnt sure about the Celeron CPU, but i didnt think it was.

So The Pentium M, Core Solo, Core Duo, are all Centrino capable. Centrino is similar to viiv for desktops, its not actually a CPU.
