INTEL D865PERL Motherboard Memory Problem

Hey guys, I have the Intel D865PERL Mobo, Chipset i865PE, Version: AAC27648-211 with the latest bios P21. I want to upgrade the ddr400 memory to 2 gigabytes of OCZ EL Dual Channel Platinum DDR PC3200 (two 1 gig modules). Problem lies in that I can't figure out where in the bios (or if in fact this mobo models bios offers this!) the voltage for the dimm (vdimm) area is, so I can change it to properly accomadate these ddr's. I don't even know what vdimm it is running at currently, which is quite annoying. I checked with Everest software, no dice, checked with intel free desktop control center software, nothing. So I'm sorta coming to the conclusion that maybe it's set at some voltage say 2.6v and that can't be adjusted, or it automatically adjusts itself (which would be nice lol). I just don't want to fork over 200 bucks only to get a blue screen because voltage are not high enough to power the ocz's. If anybody know's this mobo, or has any idea what I can do to resolve this issue, I seriously would appreciate it to the max.
Thanks so much, ahead of time.
a.m.

P.S.: this mobo model didn't come with any ethernet option, had to buy an expansion card for internet. And in my bios I AM able to change the DIMM timings.

Rest of my computer:
Gskill 1 gig, pc3200, cas of 3, timings 4-4-4-8
7800 gs agp 8x evga
550 watt rosewill
36 gig WD Raptor
P4 3.4 ghz 800 fsb 1mb L2 cache
Creative Extreme Music sound card

I don't think those older Intel boards will give you the option to increase the voltage on anything. If you can it'll probably be by jumper. If you want 2GB going with 4x512MB is probably the safest way to go, 1GB DDR400 modules will probably all be 2.6V.

I don't even know if it exists at all, but as a rule Intel boards before the D975XBX didn't give you any overclocking/overvolting options in the BIOS. I'll have a look through the manual for anything and tell you what I find.

edit: Going by the manual, it doesn't look like it supports 1GB modules at all.

yeah it supports 1gb modules, I have one running on it currently. I believe it can't be over nothinged lol. The board is minimal in terms of allowing much change in the bios. I guess I'm out of luck, didn't think far enough ahead when I bought this board :( Crom, question, do you have an intel board? Which one? and does it let you overclock this stuff? D975xbx let's you do all this? So I guess I was one board too late LOL oh well, I like intels mobos, very stable, but I am really let down by this. Just wondering if they changed this.

I have a Gigabyte bored, but it is based on an intel 965 chipset. It has a lot of overclocking options. It is a GA-965P-S3.

The D975XBX is a newer board than what you have, it's not exactly OC friendly (you have to jumper reset the cmos if it fails) but it does let you OC.

Other than some inital problems with RAM support, I really like my board. Asus is a popular choice as well. EVGA and MSI are alright, and Foxconn makes some average no-frills boards.

I actually have the 865PERL board. Though mine came with onboard ethernet. I can change the timings and overclock my p4 from 2.8 to 2.91. But thats about it.
