Please assist...

i.e. how do I know which drivers to update e.g. just 'processors' and/or 'graphics' ?

What does everyone else do?

Many thanks

I'm anticipating my new PC (which will arrive next week) which will be an Intel Core i5 Quad Core Processor 4670.

I know at some stage the mobo and graphics drivers will need updating, but I was just wondering about drivers from the Intel website?

Unless you encounter issues, you're best off updating drivers off the computer manufacturers website.

Ok, and this (manual) will obviously come with my new desktop?

Btw,

Intel Core i5 4670 Quad Core Processor
ASUS Z87-A motherboard
NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 780 graphics

This is what I mean, yes?

Is this a custom machine made by a third company like CyberPower, or is it a manufacturer machine (Dell, Alienware, etc.)?

Okay so it looks like they just build custom computers. You'll go directly to the motherboard manufacturer (in your case, ASUS) for motherboard realted drivers (chipset, LAN, USB etc.). For video drivers you visit nVidia's driver page on the nVidia website.

Motherboard drivers aren't updated that often so you don't need to worry about them. New graphics drivers usually come out once a month. If you install the GeForce Experience software, it automatically checks for driver updates.
