how good is the new intel onboard VGA

I'm planning to buy a new intel-based system. Probably i will buy the LGA775, I don't know whether there are LGA775 Main Board with AGP slot. The one the I knew only had a PCI-E 16X VGA slot, and with Intel's o/b vga. So i think, while saving to buy PCI-E card, i will use the intel's o/b vga. I read somewhere that it's better than the ATI 9100 IGP.
Anyone have the experience using the new Intel's o/b vga?

lets just say that u wont be playing much games with that but running the computer on normal use will be just fine.

I have a hard time believing that its better but to be honest, beating the 9100 IGP isnt much of a challenge .. perhaps you might want to consdier a PCI video card until youve got the money for the upgrade? :)

for onboard video its solid, but everything short of an x300 will give you better game performance. Also worth noting is it's performance is directly related to the amount of system ram you have. And it is a 'DX9' video processor but don't expect great shaders or fancy effects

pci card? like "elsa gladiac"? I think pci VGA card is very rare here.
The cheapest pci-e card here is 123 US $. I guess I will have to use the o/b for quite a while, till I can afford a good PCI-e card.

well, thanks all for the inputs..
