So basically every time i try to run my samsung B2230HD monitor with my Asus U50F laptop the screen on my laptop goes blank and then turns on and says that Intel hd has crashed and successfully restarted, I cannot get the monitor to work with my laptop no matter what I do. I have gotten new drivers from intel and installed the drivers for the samsung and still nothing will work. I have tried vga and HDMI cables and still nothing, please help.

Its probably due to the fact that your Asus has a max resolution of 1366 x 768 while the monitor recommend setting is 1920 x 1080. the Asus just cant do it.

No, it would just be kinda big and blurry looking. Will the laptop work with any other monitors?

Im not sure, i have not yet tried that. IDK it seems to recognize that I have the samsung plugged in because when i go to device manager and click monitors the samsung does show up, but yet does not work.
