yes ive tried memtest. the first stick passed 7 passes in the third ram slot, the second one showed errors in the second slot so I tried it in the first slot and it worked fine, after that I put the third stick into the first slot, which seemed to work.
I have come to notice that the errors always occur when the ram/ motherboard are within 30 minutes of turning on the system. After that the ram or motherboard warms up or something and it works just fine.
Also, I have the RAM voltage at 1.49V instead of 1.5V because my RAM only lets me go up to 1.49V then goes to 'auto'. At this point I think it must be either my mobo or ram are defective but im not sure which one. How do I tell if the problem is my mobo or ram? Any help would be much appreciated.
