Yes it does i can play can counterstrike source on High settings Battlefield 2 on Medium settings and i can play the fear demo on low. i can play Red orchestra ostfront 41-45 on high settings an rarely any lag. so it does work well for gaming but if you want better performance i would get a 7600GS or 7600GT it will perform a lot better then my X300.
