The processor doesn't decide if you have a PCI-E X16 Slot it is the Motherboard. Your motherboard is a Circuit Board that contains a socket, which holds your processor. Expansion Slots, which allow you to add sound cards, video cards, and much more. And Ram Slots, that allow you to add memory, to increase your computers performance. But this is just a overview of what your motherboard does. It can do much more. I reccomend reading this.

-Motherboard 101
-CPU 101
-Video Card 101

hmm ok but from what u see does it look like i can use a pci express 16? on that processor?

again it is a intel pentium 4 2.00GHz and i have 700 MB of ram plz help

The motherboard determines whether you have a PCI-express X16 slot or not. Not the CPU. And seeing that it's such an old CPU, you probably (or definitely) don't have one.

Since your picture isn't displaying for me, Im assuming this.
Ok, I'm guessing you may have a Socket 775 motherboard. Since you have a older pentium, you probably have a AGP slot. (Acclerated Graphics Port), It is different than PCI-E. You cannot use a AGP Video Card in a PCI-E x16 slot or Use a PCI-E x16 Video Card in a AGP slot. If you could find out your motherboard information or model that would be very helpful.

No way it's LGA775, it's at most socket 478. Probably a northwood chip.
