Intel planning on still lowering price for core 2 duo?

The title says it all... I'm looking at the E6600 and right now it's at $222. Do you think it's going to suddenly drop or is that just the dual cores and not the core 2 duos? I know that earlier they dropped but I was told that sometime this month, Intel was going to lower all their prices. I was going to upgrade like right now (as you can see in my signature) but should I wait a couple weeks?

I've been dying to ask someone this: Are the July 22nd price cuts actually confirmed? Because I remember that same hkepc site predicting the Q6600 to go to $266 on APRIL 22nd of this year, and it was wrong. I'm actually planning on immediately ordering as soon as the price drop hits, if it actually does.

That would be awesome if the Q6600 drops to that cheap!! I was planning on buying the E6600 for $222 but if i'll be able to get the quad version for $40 more...dang that'd be sweet. I just don't want to wait...and wait...and wait...
