Companies like HP, Dell, Sony, and others arent going to lower the price of their laptops and/or the prices to upgrade processors just because Intel drops their prices a bit, for the most part they still charge the same amount as they did when the Core 2 Duo mobiles first came out.

the quad cores are dropping a bit on 22nd but still exensive, they dropping mostly end of quarter three.
