Intel X48 vs nVidia 790i

Hey guys,

Need some help and advice on this 2 chipsets. Anyone has any experience or knowledge of the 2 chipsets in terms of reliability and performance?

And also, I read another review on another forum which mentioned that nVidia chipset quite unreliable and quite problematic. Is that true?

The 790i ultra sli is vastly superior in every way, and is completely stable, with no reliability issues. It was also used by Kingpin to set the world 3dmark06 record.
 
my friend has the 790i. It works wonders. I would recommend it. I'm not sure about the other one though.
 
Based on the reviews from the customers I have read on newegg, the 780i is more stable then the 790i at the moment. I guess there is still some slight problems with the 790i since its more recent. If I'm not mistaken, the 790i is still slightly faster then the 780i though.
