Intel's E6600 - vs. AMD 6000+

Just wait for E6750, it supposed to come out in Monday (tomorrow) on newegg.....

And it will be cheaper than the current E6600
 
The E6600 is slightly better than the 6000, and the E6600 overclocks better. But if you dont overclock the reality is you wont really see much difference.

Tomshardware has done more than 20 tests, and you only posted the ones were AMD wins !!! LOL

No, I don't agree with you that E6600 in neck to neck with 5600+ because E6600 beats it in the majority of tests. E6600 at stock is as good if not better than 6000+

Edit: And just because 5600+ beats it in some doesn't mean it is 50/50 because E6600 was better in the majority of tests, it was even better than 6000+ in majority of tests. E6420 was able to beat 6000+ in some benchmarks but does this mean that it is neck to neck with 6000+ ?? !! According to your logic the answer should be yes !!!

The X2 5400-5600-6000 and the E6600 are all so close you wont see much difference but the E6600 clocks better, so if you dont overclock it doesnt really matter. Between all of then there might not be a 1-3 FPS or if your encoding a video there might be 3-5 seconds difference-Big deal!

I agree with you that in real world performance you will not notice any big difference between those processors....

But the problem is that some members here are posting incorrect information by saying that "6000+ beats E6600 in every test" !!!!


In all the reviews that I saw, E6600 was nearly as good if not better than 6000+ at stock speeds !!

Yeah i agree, in my first post i said "5600" it was a typo i mean 6000 :o .. i forgot to proof read lol

But an overclocked 5600 yeah...lol, i hate typo's :mad:
