yes, but im saying that they have the core duo architecture, and if they make the architecture for a desktop then i will most likely build with it.
 
There arent any mobos out for it yet. Its a great processor, but there's nothing to do with it now. AOpen is coming out with a sweet 975X crossfire yonah board, but its going to be really expensive.

EDIT: They are making a PM like processor for desktops. Its called conroe. And its going to be released at the same time as AM2 so its gonna be one big showdown.
 
hmm thanks for the input... i do like the sound of a different type of intel processor since i originally liked P4 until i learned Athlon 64 was much better...
either way a new mix is always good, and a nice competition for prices too.
i hope that the motherboard isnt too expensive... i guess i'll concentrate on improving on my current system for now.
