This guy's weird to say the least! I mean I understand that someone hates their slow connection, but to hate a fast one is stupid. Maybe he never found anything fun to do but I bet that 95% of you will always find something to do. It does not have to be anything like gaming...could be reading the news...you name it. When you don't need anything...you don't force yourslelf to. Hmmm...get my point? I don't get the guy's point for sure!

I love my broadband, I think I'd die if I had to go back to dial-up, or at least not use the internet as much. Of course, I do kinda feel like that guy sometimes, I just get on the computer to kill time, and check my email 30 times an hour, and look at my MySpace.com profile a hundred times, lol.

I agree JAN, I feel bad for the poor guy... seems like he is bitter because he over did the computer games and almost lost his woman.... Also, even with 2MB's at my disposal "sheer power" as he puts it... I still find myself waiting a few seconds to DL a few pages... and we all know how impatient the current generation is.. this guy is out of touch with reality and this guilt trip has consumed him. I do agree with the P2P network information he talked about (do not know how accurate his stats are)... anyway... him and his 17 browser windows need to get out and get some free air.... I can see why spending all day and night on a computer has helped him lose his mind... but I think blaming broadband.. lol.. is not the answer...

also, "utilise its sheer power " when he got rid of his broadband, did he also get rid of his spell checker? or do Mac's not have them anymore?
 
His gonna miss out on a lot . I couldn't go without the internet for too long.
At college, they block us from going on interesting sites so as soon as I get home I gets those sites up and running not thats its any porn or anything like that, its mainly games and and personal websites.
It funning how I can't get on a personal website at college but I can get onto a site that shows how to make an explosive. :D
