interesting problem

Hello all,

i have been getting a problem with my new computer:the startup runs fine but when the blue login screen appears my mouse and keyboard freeze-none of the buttons work and cant move the cursor...the mouse and keyboard are totally fine and they work during startup too...
Anyone know what the problem might be?

i cant even log into the computer because it has a password on it...and the keyboard doesnt type...

More info...what type? PS/2 or USB? Check and see that legacy USB or PS/2 is enabled in the Bios.

I dont think the problem is in that it all worked fine before and it works in safe mode and in normal startup, only shuts down when the blue screen appears...

if it is a USB mouse and keyboard definelty try a PS2 mouse cos I have had this prob a couple of times and thats always been the solution for me

it is a ps2 mouse and I just contacted one of my moms friends whos a programmist and knows a lot so he advised me to just reinstall Windows
