i have their new 50mb service,i went from 20mb to 50 and furtunatly my contract carries on over from the 20mb which is due to expire soon.

i will not be renewing my contract with them.

imo they should not offer the service to customers if their systems are not capable of running them properly.

this past week ive had nothing but problems with mine,their customer support sucks and overall stay away from Virgin media people!
 
ADSL speeds are perfectly good, I know a chap who works for Zen Internet as an engineer and while they are quite costly their support and kit is very good indeed, BT also have pants support so I'm trying to find a decent deal!

EDIT: A comment on the Reg article makes a good point, Virgin may as well give you all 1GB/s conenctions but make the limit 2MB.
