interface vs coreclock

I've been shopping around and comparing items and I just wanted to know which is more important? Memory Interface or Memory Clock / Core clock / PixelPipelines? for instance a 256 bit memory interface with 350mhz core clock & 8 PixelPipelines
or
128 bit memory interface with 580mhz core clock 12 PixelPipelines.

Also I had a question about dsl, currently i'm using the ethernet card 10/100mbps, the one that came with dsl like 4 years ago, if I switched to a different NIC, a 10/20/100/200/1000/2000Mbps PCI Gigabit Network Adapter will my connection improve?

okay well...
it can process, and it can access memory... but it needs to do both.
the more pixel pipelines the better. technically a gpu with 8 pixel pipelines at 200mhz would perform the same as a gpu with 4 pixel pipelines at 400mhz... of course, its not exact...
mainly because the architecture is always different, what with vertex shaders and pixel pipelines...
but generally memory bit interface effects bandwidth along with memory clock....
your card needs the following
processing power, and memory bandwidth. basically benchmarks tell all though...

if you're looking to get a card, we can help... generally newegg, zipzoomfly, and monarch computers are the best websites to buy from.
