internal hard drive---removable?

I have an internal SATA hard drive that I can remove on my taskbar under the safely remove hardware option. Is this normal?

I also have an external hard drive that I can safely remove but I thought that an internal hard drive would not have this option.

Lastly, I am retarded and did not partition my internal hard drive so I am only using 127 out of 250 GB of the hard drive.

When windows vista comes out I will just wipe the hard drive clean and re-do the entire thing.

Anyways, is that remove hardware thing normal?

na not for the internal ( 99% sure, but i never used a sata drive and it might be like that ) but for the external it is

I looked at my hard drives and it says it is healthy. It isnt a big deal, but the 120gb of space that I cant use is bugging me.

did you update to sp2 and what not, i know that puts a limit on the space....just search the forums and ull find stuff about that...
