Internal Keyboard Problem?

Alright, so some background, my normal non-Usb just stopped working recently, and then, after some water spillage, my keyboard stopped working (except for the sleep button)

I just bought a wireless keyboard/mouse, and plugged everything in, the mouse works, but the keyboard doesn't (except for the sleep button).

It comes with software, but I cant install it because I cant get past my password screen.

Any ideas/help?

wht password screen? windows user password screen?
i think u mite need to install the software in order to use your keyboard. it mite be having separate drivers of itself.

because its a usb keyboard it might not be getting picked up by the os so have you tried waiting untill you get to the screen you log onto windows and unpluging the keyboard and plugging it back in possibley into a different usb port if that doesnt work you will have to buy or lend a ps2 keyboard.
