I agree. If you don't need to take it anywhere, you might as well get an internal drive.Depends if you want to take you data places then you should get an external... but if it is going to just sit beside your computer as another hard drive... just buy an internal.
Okay, an internal hard drive would be for me then. I have a Dell Dimension that's over a year old. 3 GHz with P4 processor. How do I go about knowing which internal hard drive can work inside this computer? Searching internal hard drives at Dell, I come across alot that end up being for Laptops, and I don't know what "rpm" I should be gunning at or my machine is able to run, or whether I should get "SCSI".
