Ok, heres the story. Ive got to comps hooked up thru a simple network ie crossover cable and 2 network cards.
On the host I've got set up an adsl modem which is working fine.
Now although the computers can see eachother fine and access eachothers files fine, the client cannot access the internet.
The host still can.
But when you share the internet connection, the computers both dispapear from eachother on the network.
The computers and net were working fine up until a week ago and to my knowledge nothing has changed, everything is pinging fine but i also cannot access the other computer to play LAN games.
Any idea on whats going on.
Both computers are running Xp pro and network cards and cables are working fine.
