internet blocking

k i connect through a network in my house for the internet and the internet is suppoed to be off at 10 on school nights cuz my brother doesnt do his homework, so my dad used to unplug the connection coming from his computer when he wanted it off but now he has some timed thing on his computer that makes it go off at 10 every night, i think it might block my ip address at a certain time or something im not sure. i need to kno what it might be and how i can bypass it cuz its really annoying. i kno its not net nanny or cyber sitter tho cuz i used to have those things and i would just get rid of them easily. any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks

He prabaally has the cable modem shut-off with a power timer plugged in...I'd go in further detail's but if your parents don't want you useing the internet...youprabaally shouldn't...

i bet its a router firewall...My step dad has one that is timed...But he can change the time for every day of the week. Just go to your gui, go to client filters. Alls you may need is a password
