Internet connection problem WinXP

Hi,

I need some help with my internet connection.
I have an Intel Celeron 1.7GHz 512MB RAM and cable internet.
I have upgrade internet speed from 1MBps/256kBps to 10MBps/1MBps.
My computer have the maximum speed 1MBps/1MBps.
I try to connect a friend laptop and they work fine 10MBps/1MBps.

Where is the possible error in Windows XP or is possible that the error is in the Ethernet card?

I make the speed test from www.speedtest.net

Please help me found the problem.

I try some malware, spyware, cleaners like SuperAntiSpyware, MalwareBytes, CCleaner, RootKitRevealer,... and not found anything.
 
Most likely its your system. Could be your network card or a bad setting. You might want to try a new network card first as they are pretty cheap.
