Internet Connection quits,no ip adress!

Hey. Have a big problem, my internet connection just turns off and doesnt work until I install xp again with a systemdisc. The connection quits almost everytime i restart my computer. I have noticed that my ip adress is gone, that i dont have one, when the connection quits. So what im basically doing now is that i have the computer on and if it quits or i have to restart the computer, then i must reinstall xp if i want my internet to keep working.
Dont think that its any virus program blocking, because ive tried to uninstall everyone, and the internet didnt work anyway.
Anyone who can help me?
 
How do you mean? My computer have an ip, but when i restart my computer the ip disappers and my internet connection quits. Sorry im not that good with copmuters:o

Like - it will have the one IP and then it won't (hopefully) quit.

Do you know how to do it??
 
if found it now. But do you think it will work? whats the problem, that the computer cant automatically assign an ip?
