Internet Connection

I was just wondering what internet connections everyone had and what limits there are in those packages. right now Im only have a dial up connection with a 56k modem (what a stinker) that allows me to have over 100 hours a month for EURO 24.50 I recently became able to get broadband but the limit is only 8G download a month for 30.00 euro and i was woneding what everyone else had just to be noisey:P
 
I dont have limits on the amount of downloading I can do. Di they tell you how much you have currently downloaded? Are you in a rural area to be doing this, or is it a common thing in Ireland?
 
for all the people in Ireland who have an internet connetion only 20% have broadband before I was in a black spot there person up the road could get it and the person down the road could get it but iv waited close to 2 years and finally im going to get it. its acually wireless broadband its not that good compared to apj101's ihavent got a clue if it tells you how much you have downloaded only time will tell well a week!

Monthly downstream / upstream speeds: 1mb downstream and 128k upstream.*
Monthly megabyte allowance: 8 GB download / 1 GB upload.

the broadband is provided through you phone line, any wireless capability will be added at you end by a wireless router ;)

Should have put in a high gain antenna and shared that connection ;)
