Internet disconnections

My internet disconnects randomly all the time then reconnects itself 20 seconds later. Anyone know why it does this? I checked for spyware / malware / viruses and couldn't find anything.

It does this to my entire network I think. Even when I'm not uploading / downloading anything...it just does it. So annoying.


Does anyone know what these symptoms are the cause of? My download speed is usually 18mbps and upload speed is usually 4 mbps.

Reset your modem/router and if it keeps doing it, contact your internet provider to see if its a problem on their end.

Look for "Dial on Demand" option in the router settings, or such.

My DSL modem did that, usually while playing games, it was a major pain.

Well I think it may be your setting problem with you. The settings which is related to all of it you have to do. Or its my best advice you to restart your modem. It may also be your browser problem. You should update it. But first of all try to restart your modem once. Hopefully you will be solved your problem.
