internet distribution

i have internet network made from router and 8 Laptops wireless connection
so the problem is : the internet speed is hight on one and very low in other one
and sometimes when i upload on one of them i need it to be faster then the other
how i control that by use only xp

note : all laptops have same ability

you will get best results and speed with cable (cat5) hooked up if this helps.

thanx for help but my big problem with distribution i won't be equal

and the lan is wireless i don't need cable
