internet explorer 7 problems

hi, recently i have been having some problems with IE7, when its opened its ereally slow to respond to simple tasks and just about every time a differnt page is loaded, a advert comes up instead, if i go back and click the link again the problem is resolved, the pages also freeze constantly,

i have norton internet security 2008 installed but it cood not find anthing after several scans, i also tryed a scan that i found on the microsoft website and this didn't solve the problem either.

norton antivirus 2008 is BS and IE7 is slow loading on most pc's i am not being rude.
But to your other probs i dunno?
