I've been getting the "Internet Explorer cannot open the page-Operation aborted" error message a lot today. It used to be I'd get in once in a while, with the Google homepage. This was a rare occurence, and clicking the back button after being directed to the usual error page would take me to the Google home and it would work fine, so I never cared much. But today, it suddenly became a huge problem with a certain site.
For the past couple of days, I've been using IMDB without any issue. That goes for most of today as well. Then, suddenly, maybe about a few hours ago, I kept getting that error message on pages I tried to visit-the same pages I'd been visiting most of the day. I don't know what to do. I think they might have changed something on their site suddenly to cause this problem, and judging by the results of a few google searches, it might be related to JavaScript?
I also read about a patch that might be able to fix this problem, released by Microsoft, but have yet not seen any site linking to it or anything.
Can anyone help?
