internet explorer homepage

I used to get the IE homepage when I clicked on IE icon. something happened involving a 'Windows Live' ad and now I have to get the msn homepage. whats the address of the internet explorer homepage? I wasnt able to find that as a choice in internet options. Its no longer there
 
If you do go

1. - Open IE7 Up
2. - Tools
3. - Internet options
4. - General (Tab)
5. - Home page
6. - Click on the Use Default Button

Then it will come up with the windows home page that hopefully use to come up.
 
i have opened ie icon ,tools options,gen. I have then deleted the msn.com address which is visible and clicked on default. http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=69157 is what I get which opens the msn home page. I'd enter the ie address but I dont know what that is. this problem was created by 'Windows Live signup page' somehow showing up when I clicked on the explorer icon the other day. I was able to get rid of the ad from coming up each time by entering msn.com in the address to replace that. I'd like to beable to have the basic ie explorer page come up like it used to . Im thinking of uninstalling ie and reinstalling it.

Well i don't know... i'll try my IE and see what is does... because i got redirected on the link you gave me...

Ok now the link is now being redirected to the MSN page... you are going to have to change the homepage to a page you want like google or something along those lines. :)

P.S. - It must be windows are now redirecting the page for some reason....... :mad::mad:
