Please post the malwarebytes log and a hijackthis log.

To find the malwarebytes log, open malwarebytes, click on the log tab, and then open the log that you just scanned and copy and paste it back here.

Download the HijackThis installer from here.
Run the installer and choose Install, indicating that you accept the licence agreement. The installer will place a shortcut on your desktop and launch HijackThis.

Click Do a system scan and save a logfile

Most of what HijackThis lists will be harmless or even essential, don't fix anything yet.

Post the logfile that HijackThis produces along with the Malwarebytes Anti-Malware log

Let me explain all the details. Someone uninstalled internet explorer from my pc somehow. I copied the internet explorer folder from another windows 7 pc. I pasted in to my program files. Now how do I make internet explorer work? I can't open it :)

didn't help me.. there is no download for windows 7...

I can't delete the internet explorer folder. I even tried with delete doctor.

There isn't a windows 7 download and I tried the windows vista download as you told me to do. The vista download doesn't work either. When I want to run it it says Internet Explorer 8 is not supported on this operating system.

What do I do? Any help is greatly appreciated :)

Why didn't you tell us the whole story in the beginning? Do a repair install of windows to fix your issue or you may have resort to doing a system recovery.

Look in Turn Windows Features on and off. If its unchecked, check it and check ok and see what happens. If its already checked, uncheck, click ok, then rechech it, click ok.

Since you dont know how they tried to remove it and after you dragged another IE folder over, dont know if it will work or not.

Another option is to just never use IE. When do I use it? Never. Only when I run updates on an XP machine.

I Actually never use it. i do not even have it installed.... haha, i use Mozilla Firefox most of the time, and sometimes chrome.

I mean the ie8, is pretty bad, ie 9 so far has a few things missing. I use Mozilla Firefox 4.0 Beta 6 and so far it is very amazing.

As strangle hold intimated, you cannot delete IE 8 from win7. It can be switched on and off through Control panel-programs- Windows features. However, if someone deleted a folder then that might cause a serious issue.

I would do as Strangle suggested then download IE9. I am using that as my default browser and like it very much
