Internet Explorer restart

I am having an issue with IE 8 and using the AOL Mail Homepage. I have AOL as my primary email account and log into to check email. I get error msgs shortly after doing so stating that Internet Explorer needs to restart. It does not happen all the time, but more than it should.

Anyone encounter this before? any ideas on a fix?
