Hi,

My Father in laws laptop is running windows 2000.
I have just got rid of a trojan horse virus from it.

I am now having problems with IE not storing temporary internet files in the temp folder. When you go to internet options/temp internet files/settings no file address is shown. If you try to move the slider it says enter a value betwen 1 and 0?? What ever you input it says there isnt enough space??

Has anyone got any ideas?

Thanks in advance

i would just get firefox - www.getfirefox.com this will get rid of your problems, but if you really want your problem with IE fixing then i'm not sure what it could be, it sounds like the virus, or traces of it could still be there and stopping IE from functionaing properly

Lee :D

I Have tried deleting internet explorer and re installing it - but I still cant change the temp internet folder settings - it still says there isnt enough space.

I also cannot download any files from internet sites??- Any other ideas on what I can try apart from downloading firefox?

Thanks
